Moonwalks, Bounce Houses, Inflatables, Bouncers, Bounces, Jumpers, Jump House, Bouncy, Funhouse, Moon Bounce and Space Walks are all terms used to describe a basic inflatable jumper. They can be square, round or even rectangle, but generally there is no difference between them. The terms are used interchangeably through out the industry and this site.

A Combo is a mixture of a moonwalk and features that are often found on other inflatable structures all combined into a single inflatable. Generally a Combo will be listed with a designation of the number of different activities combined into the unit.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC has a variety of different styles of Combos that you can choose from. A complete list of the available Moonwalk / Slide Combos can be found by clicking on the menu item of the same name. Generally the Playland Combos contains a bounce area, climb, slide and 2 basketball hoops whereas the Combo Challenge 5 contains a bounce area, climb, slide, basketball hoop and multiple obstacles. Both of these units are a step above a simple Moonwalk giving even more activities to enjoy!


YES. Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC researches each unit prior to adding it to our inventory. We buy only the safest units designed and constructed on the market.

  • Each unit is constructed with industry standard vinyl that is extra strong and fire retardant.
  • Each unit has safety instructions and limitations displayed near the entrance.
  • All the bounce areas are fully enclosed and surrounded with netting for maximum visibility as well as air circulation.
  • All of the slides have netting to prevent participants from jumping off the slide. They must first sit in order ride down the slide.
  • All of our units are secured with either 18 inch stakes or sand bags to prevent movement while the unit is in use.

There should be no problems as long as everyone adheres to the safe operating instructions. However, as with any activity involving small children, adult supervision is required. This will help to insure that the rules are followed and that there is someone present to assist children entering and exiting the inflatable bounce house.

YES. Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC is fully insured. A copy of the policy will be provided upon request at time of delivery. For some locations, additional insurance may be required and will add $100 to the total rental cost. You may also contact us in advance if you have any specific insurance requirements or questions.

While insurance is not required of inflatable operators in the State of Minnesota, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC believes that it should be a critical component of any companies' safety philosophy. Any operator that you are considering using for your next event should be able to demonstrate that they are dedicated to a safe, clean and fun environment for all of the participants.

The general rule of thumb is to make sure that there is at least 10 feet of clearance exists on all sides of the inflatable. This will ensure the attendant has the room needed to observe the participants. It also provides the unit clearance from snagging while it flexes or is being inflated or deflated.

The dimensions for each inflatable unit are listed along with their description on the individual product(s) pages. Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will remind you of the dimensions as you are making your reservation to make sure that the proper clearance exists for the setup at your location.


Inflatables need to be setup on a clear flat surface void of any obstacles. The safest surface is a level grassy area; however an inflatable bounce house can also be setup upon asphalt, concrete or indoors in a gymnasium.

The area should be clear of any obstacles that can harm the participants or the inflatable itself. This would include rocks, sticks, sprinklers or other sharp objects. Additionally the unit will need to be secured using stakes or sand bag weights. Please specify the surface to Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC while making your reservation so that we can bring the proper anchors for your rental.


Yes! Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will deliver and setup each unit well before the start of your party. During the setup, all of the inflatables are inspected for cleanliness and safety. We will also take the time during the setup to go over the safe operating procedures for the inflatable and to answer any questions you may have.

In addition to setting up the inflatable, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will return after the party is over to take down and retrieve the unit.

Sorry, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC does not allow for customer pickups of inflatables.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC wants to make sure that each inflatable is setup properly to insure the safety of all participants. By performing the delivery and setup ourselves we can make sure that the unit is secured, there are no safety hazards and we can review the proper operation of the inflatable for all of the attendants.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC takes safety very seriously and allowing Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC to perform the setup is just one way that we can guarantee the quality and safety of your rental. We encourage all persons to review our Safety Philosophy prior to their rental and ask as many questions as necessary while we review the operating procedures.


Generally the setup and take down of the inflatables takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending upon location and layout of the site. This is a service that is included as a part of your rental costs.


It is important that children be grouped together based upon age and size while in the inflatable. This is done to prevent any injuries while bouncing. A general rule of thumb is to make sure each child has enough room to bounce with their arms extended without touching any other children.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements will instruct you on the safe operation of the inflatable after it has been setup at your event. They will also go over the instructions and how many children are allowed on that specific piece of equipment at this time. If you have any specific questions after this instruction, we will be happy to answer them for you.


At Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC we clean and maintain our equipment so that each rental will appear to be the first time the unit has been used. That is why for each rental you can expect the following:


No, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC does not provide an attendant for rentals. However, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will take the time to train all of the attendants that you provide for the rental. Generally this will be a parent or another adult that is attending the party.

Among the things that Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will cover with the attendants includes:


Blowers for an inflatable bounce house require a standard 110V household outlet. The outlet should be located within 100 feet from the unit and devoid of any other electrical appliances using the same circuit. Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will provide any extension cords necessary to connect the blower.

If an outlet is not available within 100 feet, let us know and we can help arrange the use of a generator for an additional charge.


Prior to your event, it is best to make sure that the location that you have chosen for the setup of the inflatable is suitable. You will want to clear the area where the inflatable will be setup of any rocks, twigs, pine cones, or other obstructions that might damage the inflatable or be a danger to your guests. You will also want to remove any dog doo-doo that might be present.

If there is underground irrigation or power lines in the area where you want the inflatable to be setup, you may wish to have them marked ahead of time to prevent any of the anchors used to secure the inflatable from causing any damage. If you do not know where the underground lines are run, you may request that Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC uses sand bags for anchors instead of stakes. Please contact Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC prior to your rental to make sure that appropriate anchors are present for the setup at your event.

Doing these simple things ahead of time will allow Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC to be able to setup the equipment faster and allow your event to run more smoothly.


NO. Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC does not require a deposit in order to reserve an inflatable bounce house for a typical party or event. All we need is the date, time, location and the unit(s) you want to reserve and we will hold them for you. However, for some of the larger events or festivals we may ask for a deposit to hold the equipment as we get further requests for use of the same equipment.

All of the inflatables from Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. So our most popular inflatables and packages can book up to two months in advance. In order to ensure that you have your first choice of inflatable for your next event, make your reservations early since there is no deposit required. Also, the earlier you make your reservation, the more choices you will have to choose from.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will collect full payment the day of the party when we deliver and setup the inflatable(s).


Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC accepts cash, check or credit cards for payments. However only cash or check will be accepted when we deliver the inflatables. Credit card payments must be arranged ahead of time. Payment is not due until the day of the event when Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC arrives to setup for your event. After Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC arrives, they will present the contact with a copy of the contract and the invoice for the rental. They will ask the contact to show them the location for the setup of the equipment and then they will collect the payment for the rental. No equipment will be setup without payment.


Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will not setup equipment in rain, snow, high winds or muddy conditions. We are also not allowed to setup the equipment outdoors when the temperature is below 50 degrees. Therefore in order to guarantee the success of your event, it is strongly recommended that you reserve an alternate indoor location (such as a church or a school gym) in case of inclement weather conditions.

In the event of the possibility of bad weather, you will be given the option to cancel the event at any point prior to the equipment being setup. However, once the equipment has been setup, the full amount of the rental is non-refundable, even if the event is cut short due to bad weather.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC reserves the right to refuse to complete any event that has the potential to cause damage to its equipment.


Not a problem, since there are no deposits and there is no cancellation fee. You have the right to cancel at no charge prior to any setup of the inflatables at your party.

It is Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC policy that there are no refunds after an inflatable has been setup at a party. That is why in case of questionable weather, Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC will double-check with you prior to setting up if you want to cancel your reservation or not. Once the unit is setup, no cancellation or refunds are allowed.

Jolly Jumpz Amusements LLC does ask that if you need to cancel your reservation that you call us at (507) 398-6660 as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to rent your inflatable bounce house to somebody else. Generally we have a waiting list for the use of our inflatables, by contacting us early you give somebody else the chance to have fun at their party.
